This exhibition presents 120 paintings by Russian and French artists active at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th who have emerged as the greatest pionneers of the main directions of modern art. For the first time, works from these museums have been gathered for a single exhibition. The aim of the exhibition is to demonstrate the remarkable story in the history of modern art, the intersecting paths from Impressionism and Realism to Abstract painting, told by these masterpieces from Russia and France.
